"Great little spot to grab drinks with unique menu options. Raul makes some of the best food in the Rockford area. They offer shrimp as well as some of the best burgers in town, my personal favorite is the Charlemagne burger. The bartender Brian also makes great drinks and the owner is always very nice whenever I see him. I highly recommend this place and come here often when I want good food at a reasonable price and strong drinks."

"Cool place The Trop Club (short for Tropic). Small but intimate. Grilled shrimp was great, $10 for 10 big ones. Good, friendly service and one strong point is you are greeted and your order is taken the minute you arrive. This is a nice gem if you are looking for a cocktail. I do not recommend the beer since only three on tap and bottles were too pricey. Removing one star because $10/mixed drink is too much for the area. Should be about $2 less per drink. Weird comment, but I have to say, this place features the most immaculate bathroom I have ever seen at a bar."

"Server was nice and the establishment is clean. We ordered a burger, a chicken sandwich, and their fries appetizer. Sandwiches were dry, fries were in a pool of oil, and you only get four wings for an order. Not the worst experience I've ever had but for the price you could get better and more elsewhere."
