"First and only time I’ve gone to a recovery center was here. Got out in late August 2023 and things have been great ever since. The place isn’t perfect but what place is? Had my issues with IARC while I was there but realized immediately after leaving how much of a bubble it is and that my complaints were pretty baseless. In hindsight, it was a great program with great staff. Gave me the tools and knowledge I needed to live a clean and happy life. Thanks y’all!"
"I just completed my 35 days yesterday. Into Action has the most incredible program, structure, staff, facility, food, and soooo much love and support for their clients! I highly recommend them! I am very grateful. My life will forever be changed!"
"IARC saved my life! The entire staff is amazing and really care about each and every client. I have maintained the strong bonds formed with my brothers and sisters in sobriety while I was in the in-residential treatment program and I embrace the new family I gained from my time there. If anyone is looking for a real recommendation, well here it is. Making the decision to go to rehab is sometimes hard for those that are lost in that dark place, but I am extremely glad that I took a leap of faith and went to Into Action. It was the best decision I've made in the last 15 years of my life. Thank you Shane, Paul, Rachel, Zack, Brook, Nurse Annie, Nurse Lori, ALL of the RA's, and everyone at the center for tolerating me through the hard parts (hurricane Drea) and loving me through it all until I found God and myself again! Much love and keep doing what y'all are doing in Houston! It works...it really does!"
"The facility, food, and basic stuff is fine. Nursing staff is great. I met some really good fellow patients with the usual assortment of jerks. My drug counselor was really good. I believe overall they care about your recovery. The issue is the mandatory groups. Coloring books for art therapy. Watching youtube music videos for music therapy. Watching Oprah videos for life skill class. Meditation group is guess … a YouTube meditation video. The least optimal aspect for me was 12 step daily groups. It’s run by outside untrained people and without going into details it did not improve my mental health, rather the opposite. While I complained about this and some improvements were made my last week I found the groups were still so unstructured my mental health was impacted. I was not given an option not to attend and asked to sign an agreement that my attendance was required with threat my treatment would be terminated. I checked myself out that night. Nonetheless I’m happy I attended IARC. I think you can get what you need there. It wasn’t a good fit for me. I get my 30 day chip tomorrow and I thank my counselor and the staff and other patients for their support."
"I’m not one for going out of my way to leave reviews, but I felt like this was a must! I recently was a client at Into Action. It was by far one of the most amazing experiences! I went to another recovery center a few years back and did not have a good experience. I guess I didn’t know the difference. One size definitely does not fit all! The Owners, team, staff, and counselors are a true blessing for someone like me who needed help and got it. Besides the whole program, and people there being nothing short of educational, compassionate, and empathetic to everyone’s individual needs; I truly believe I have gained every tool I needed to be healthy and successful in my new found recovery journey. I will be forever grateful for the gift of a new life ahead of me."
