"The first couple times I went everything was fine. I would have gave them a high rating , but those were just normal wellness checks. My service animal sustained an injury at daycare. I called my vet's office to get him some help and out of pain. The first woman I spoke to over the phone said that scans were gonna be $75. I then asked her and how much is the visit for the doctor she said no , the whole visit is seventy five dollars. I told her okay. Let me call back. I need to check where the money is coming from. I called back and apparently got a different woman on the phone because I said to her. Okay , I got the seventy five dollars for the scand she went ahead and made me an appointment. I got there. The vet finally comes in. The room stands against the wall. The whole time does not examine or touch my dog in any way shape or form other than to tell him to stay down and calm down. And they want a hundred and sixty one dollars for that. I explained to the woman I was told. It was only $75. She blatantly called me a liar after telling me. She wondered why when I called her. I said I had seventy five dollars for the scansprior to her making me the appointment. She never said anything at that time. When we were making the appointment, she did not correct me on the price. I just got hit with a $161 bill for them. To tell me he needs scans , he needs medication and he has a sprain or a strain , and he needs rest. That is exactly everything I told them over the phone prior to going. Again the doctor never touched him at all. They did absolutely nothing for my dog. Every appointment that I have gone in. They have tried to upsell me to get me to put him on this medicine or that medicine. They just try to sell me products every time i'm in there. Now an actual need for a Doctor has come up. And they don't want to do anything to help him. And the vet tech all but called me a liar to my face. When I told her no, the other lady told me. It was seventy five dollars for this entire visit. Interesting to me how she could have the gull to stand there and call me a liar to my face. When she already admitted that when I called back the second time and she was the one that made the appointment. She wondered herself why I said to her. At that time I got the seventy five dollars for the scans. I gave them my rating and I told you my story as far as I'm concerned, this vet does not care for a dog at all. She only cares about lining her pockets. You make your own choice. My dog can't even use his back leg and I still need to go get him help. I did not pay the $161 before I left because I still need to get him help somewhere else and that is more important right now than giving someone $161 for standing up against a wall in the same room for 3 to 5 minutes. Rest assured I'm not a crappie person I will go back and give them the money they didn't earn after I get my dog some real help."

"Dr P was so kind and supportive in helping us understand our sweet girl’s health issues. Tragically our sweet Sky’s health deteriorated far faster than any of us realized or were prepared for. Dr P was the only vet that Sky knew and the entire staff at Dove Creek Animal Hospital treated her well before her illness and saw firsthand how special and loving she was. We are heartbroken at her loss but she could not have been treated better. We are so grateful for Dr P and the rest of the staff’s kindness and love for our sweet girl"

"I recently had a sudden serious condition in my 17 years old dog. Even though it was Friday and close to closing time, they let me bring her in. Dr. Pagano examined her and gently explained that Cookie's condition was way, way more serious than I had thought. She told me the options, and I chose to let Cookie go rather than put her through any more pain. Dr. Pagano and techs Sarah and Amanda were so caring toward Cookie and me. I was given all the time I needed to say goodbye to my darling old dog even though it was past closing time. These are very compassionate and caring ladies. I would never take my pets anywhere else than Dove Creek!"

"We have five geriatric pet, two dogs and three (now two) cats. We have seen all three of the vets at Dove Creek and been very pleased with them. They have compassion and take time with us and our pets for the best possible outcomes. I appreciate that we are able to review treatments and costs and have time for questions before deciding on a plan. Caring for older pets takes a special veterinarian and the vets at Dove Creek are doing a great job for our fur family."
