"Highly recommended to all craft beer lovers. Small and friendly taproom specializing in regional craft beers on tap and in cans. Amazing selection and carryout available. Features beers you won't find on tap anywhere else in the area. No cocktails, just amazing microbrews. They have a few bar foods available like pizza and soft pretzels. Often hosts popups on weekends for different food vendors. Rotating local artists featured on the walls each month. Always doing fun stuff like vinyl nights, game nights, trivia nights, book clubs and more. One tv with sports on in the background but not prominent. Local family owned and operated. Limited hours but always friendly, unpretentious and low key vibes. Everyone seems to know everyone and are very welcoming. Always a favorite spot to hang out and have a beer in Aurora."

"I recently traveled to Aurora from Chicago for a work event and stopped at McCarthy Mills for a beer. I wish I could have stayed longer. I chatted with the friendly owner and got to taste delicious beer. They have a great selection of beers on tap and cans/ bottles. They cater nicely to the seasons and you’ll find something new each time. The inside space also serves as an art gallery with art for sale. The outside patio is fantastic for a bike ride stop or to enjoy a nice summer day. When in Aurora, plan a visit to the Taproom and plan to stay longer than expected."
