"My 2 boys started Kumon on May 2021. My oldest boy who is a 2nd grader was behind on his reading, with in one year he is on his reading level an doing amazing with math. My youngest son who is in Pre K 4 learned to write his name so fast and now counts to more than a hundred. Kumon has been the best decision that my husband and I had made. "My daughter started Kumon in September 2020. The center is very clean and they follow all COVID-19 procedures. We feel very safe there! My daughter raised her reading district assessment score by 71 points from fall to winter (3 months)! She could not have done this without Kumon’s program- we are very thankful in the quick progress she is making. Kumon also celebrated all of the students’ in their program with ribbons and trophies in December. I love how they acknowledged their students academic successes and made them feel so special. "Overall, I believe Kumon is a great program for children. As I was a former student of Kumon for math, I can say that it really did benefit me in my elementary school years. Though it can seem repetitive at times, the results of this repetition is that mental math becomes a breeze. Now, I work as a Kumon employee, and I enjoy my job there. "When I was first enrolled in Kumon, my parents expected me to get better at math. It took a while for it to become noticeable, but I was slowly improving. After a few months I noticed that I was finishing worksheets in school in a fraction of the time the other students took. In a few years, I was well over a grade level in math than the other students in my class. Going to Kumon, however did not just teach me math. Working with the instructor and doing hours of math also taught me to be a hard worker.
