Mercy Clinic Pediatrics - Arnold

"NEW MOMS STAY AWAY! Horrible experience to say the least. As a new mom it's an adjustment to navigate all things baby this includes the medical system. This office has two location. We accidentally went to the wrong location and I called ahead to let them know I would be 13 minutes late as I was on the highway half way there. I was told after 10 mins we would not be seen. I let them know that I would not be on my way as I did not want to be turned away for being 3 mins past time. It's a waste of gas money as we travel further. I asked to speak to the manager, Kelly. I was told Kelly was in a meeting and would get back with me after it was over. This was at 8:30 am and did not get a call until 1 pm. Funny thing is you can sit and wait on them but they can't be understanding regarding the confusion of two locations. Not to mention when you call you wait on hold a long time. I never followed up with the manager. What's the point! I left and found a better pediatricians office with great customer service and care. The adjustment of being a new mom is a learning process. Mercy Kids doesn't understand that and nor do they care. Then they have the nerve to hand you a piece of paper and ask if you are stressed. Save yourself the stress as a new mom and go somewhere else."

"What is medical care if you can't ever reach the office? I've been on hold for literally 50 minutes trying to get a simple question answered - and that's just today. It's like this every single time. The office is fine when you get there, but it always feels understaffed and underfunded. Care seems mediocre at best, even though I'm giving my left arm to pay for it. Ugh."

"HORRIBLE customer service and conflicting info between the doctor and nurses. This place is more like a medic tent at a concentration camp than a PEDIATRIC doctors office in St. Louis county. I recommend finding a place that actually cares about children before going here. Very Sad. Takes 30mins - a hour to talk to a receptionist before they put you on hold again then they are just plain rude!! No wonder this place can only attain a 2 start rating on google. Doesn’t your child deserve more than 2 stars?"

"Had the WORST experience with Dr. Patel , I’m not one to usually complain but I took my 1 month old daughter for her checkup and from the second she walked in she was so rude , talking to me like I have no idea what I am talking about and completely dismissing my concerns saying my 5 week old daughter is “fake crying” and it’s “probably colic” , well I took her to another Doctor the same day and she has a virus and I got the help I actually needed NO thanks to Dr. Patel , also saying stuff like “I don’t know why they gave her to me today her doctor is here” making it very obvious she does not care and is just trying to rush through her appointment. The most awful experience I’ve ever had with a Doctor . Do not recommend."

"Scheduled an appointment for my son over the phone as a new patient. Drove an hour to the office only to be told the doctor was not accepting new patients. They “tried” to contact me about it but I had no record of it. I even had texts confirming the appointment up until the day before. Disappointed in the disorganization. Won’t be trusting this office with any future appointments."
