"The pool is still closed, management should update the website with this information. The beds weren't very comfortable, the outlet in the nightstand didn't work (needed for cpap) It was clean and safe. All staff were friendly and helpful, and the holiday decorations are very nice. I would choose another Hampton if coming through the area again. Staff were all lovely."

"Hampton Inn & Suites in Alton was very clean and the bedroom was spectacular! The shower was roomy, and full-sized bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were available. If I travel to the area again, I will definitely be staying here for a second time! My only complaint is that the pool was closed due to failure to pass a health inspection for very preventable reasons, such as the pH being incorrect."

"1. clean Facility 2. staff is the best thing going for this property 3. room TV controls are extremely out of date..no streaming 4. the bathrooms are quite dangerous...ultra slippery. we bought a shower mat so we would not break a hip 5. if the commodes were any closer to the floor they would be "JAPANESE Toilets" 6. when checkout time came, had to wait...no carts available 7. the bed covers are ridiculous...you either shiver or sweat out your bed from overheating"
