"Beautiful area to walk along the Fox River. Can't wait to come back in the summer to try to Whitewater course!"
"Nice place to take a walk or go fishing. Birdwatching is also fun to see the birds play in the water."
"This is SO fun! 10/10 experience, we got $5 tubes from Walmart and connected 3 together! We went up and down the rapids probably 8 times! It’s so convenient bc theirs a concrete path at the end of the rapids so you walk back up that to the beginning! It was less than a 5 min walk back up! Would recommend to anyone! We did flip the tubes a few times, and water can get deep so next time I would def recommend life jackets !"
"Incredibly beautiful place. Nice beginner level white water. Local place offers rentals. Has shelter picnic area, benches, walking bridge to island. Lovely."
"Rapids in Yorkville. Looks fun, I have never gone thru yet. They have really put some funds building this area up. We started at Saw Wee Kee but we did not not go thru the rapids. We opted to portage, which is a pretty good walk with the 5 of us carrying our 5 kayaks. Luckily I spotted this awesome trolley cart. It's usually parked by put-in, so you have to look for it. It saved us. From Take out to put in is about 1,100 feet or .2 of mile. Its free of charge and we were able to put 5 10-foot kayaks on it. It has some straps but I used my bowline too. There is an ADA compliant EZ Dock at this launch at the portage, but I did not see one at put in."
