"I wanted to wait a bit before leaving this review because I've been through a couple of flight schools before landing here. I've been here for over a month now, I'm a CPA with multiple business clients and these guys and girls are doing it right. I know it when I see it. From the first phone call and visit, everyone has been so courteous and accommodating. Then... I get signed up... And I see the instructors and how they interact with their students.... I get assigned to my own outstanding instructor.... The experience is above and beyond expectations. You see.... That is the definition of "value".... When you receive something beyond expectations. Part of me hates leaving this review in fear of this hidden gem filling up and overcrowding... But the other part feels compelled to do so. The aircraft are superb and well maintained, the office and staff are full of smiling faces and happy wonderful people... Right down to the crew members who check the planes and keep the windshields clean. It's rare to find a place like this... My instructor is top shelf and from what I see, the other instructors are as well. You just walk in and know that you are at the right place.... At least I did, and my time here has confirmed that. I don't leave many five star reviews but they deserve it."

"I've been flying at Coastal Skies since summer of 2021, both as a renter and student. I received my instrument rating here, and continue to fly here on the way to commercial and CFI. I've been nothing but happy with Coastal since I joined as a member. The fleet is kept in very good shape compared to some other flight schools and clubs in the area. The rental rates are very reasonable considering most of the planes are IFR equipped with Garmin GPS and different autopilots. Maintenance is handled on site right next door, and safety issues are dealt with right away. But the real best part of the club are the people. Everyone there is friendly, and you'll soon feel like part of the family. All the instructors are helpful, and will do whatever they can as you learn to aviate. Coastal is a great place for both the new student just learning the basics, or an experienced pilot looking for a place to rent."
