"As a former esthetician student here, I feel I should give this school an honest review. While I am thankful for the knowledge and experience that I did gain here, there has also been many faults that I think needs to be addressed as new students will enroll. For one, the owner of the school isn’t as ‘pleasant’ as she should be considering she’s the face of the school. There’s been many occasions where she’s came across as rude, unprofessional, condescending and/or passive aggressive. She has a tendency for changing rules, adding fees, holding “overtime” hours, penalizing everyone for one student’s mistake/error, and making changes to your payments without asking you first. She also tends to respond/rebuttal to every not-so positive review (as I’m sure she will be under this one). On top of this, she also has the students leave good, 5 star reviews whenever she gets a negative one to outweigh it. Lastly, during my months here, there’s been multiple times where I’ve seen crickets and small roaches inside the school. If you are looking for a cosmetology/ beauty school, please do your research, tour different schools, ask questions, talk to the current students there to see how they like it, and thoroughly read the school’s policies and rules beforehand. Don’t let this review discourage you as my time here wasn’t all that miserable and I did learn things from the current esthetics instructor."

"As a student esthetician at Face It Lash and Beauty Bar, I’ve already been captivated by the world of esthetics during my short three-week journey. Mrs. Salicia, my instructor and the business owner, has been instrumental in making this experience not just educational, but truly enjoyable and exciting. Despite being relatively new to the field, Mrs. Salicia’s teaching style has kindled a genuine passion within me for esthetics. Her expertise and enthusiasm have turned each class into an energizing and informative session. I approach each day with a sense of eagerness to learn and improve, and I’m grateful for the positive atmosphere she’s created. "I would not recommend what I ask for is not what I receive. I came in at 11am. I did not leave that place until after 2:30pm and I had two different people do my lashes. No explanation to what was going on or the reason why the person who started my lashes was unable to finish zero communication with the last technician they just come in and don’t say anything."

"This was my first time coming to Face it lash & Beauty school. I must say that I was drawn to come mainly because my lash tech had recently gone on maternity leave, and unsure if she’d return doing lashes. I found this place on Facebook and saw positive feedback so I tried them. This place is 5 min away from my house which is great/convenient . As I walked in the studio the atmosphere was nice and the receptionist was very pleasant. An instant red flag was being told that I had to pay first.(I’ve never had to pay first for my lashes before the service is done). Although I was hesitant I still proceeded. I booked online and paid a $30 deposit , and for what I requested/scheduled for (the volume lashes full set) that was $140 left I had to pay. Total of $170(very overpriced). I never complain about the price if the service matches up to it , however in my particular case what I received did not match the price paid. I’ve been getting my lashes done for 5 years now and very knowledgeable about how I like my lashes , length and volume lashes overall. The owner-Salicia did my lashes as she was pleasant. My full set lasted roughly 1 hour and 20 min which I was highly impressed for what I thought were volume lashes. I did not notice until I got home that My lashes were not full and spacey , they looked like classic lashes, the length is super short almost like a 13 not a 15 like I asked, Also the glue is bulked on which is making my lashes super hard when I touch them or close my eyes. Lastly they have been slowly falling out which should not be the case if I received them on Friday and today is Sunday. I am very disappointed in my service as I could have applied them myself. Very overpriced for a low quality job. Definitely won’t be returning. I recommend extensively research if you’re trying a new lash technician/service."
