Reviews
"Not a bad place, but it could use some repair, and updating. The boat docks are short. No hand rails. The concrete next to the water is in seriously poor condition, and dangerous. I wish some genius could figure out a way to run those geese off. They're poo is everywhere!!"
"Beautiful park on the Illinois River in Ottawa. Nice, peaceful scenery and watching the boats. Many hawks, eagles, including a bald eagle, so precious to see. The only downside was trying to get to the washroom. Shelter D: It's dangerous in a wheelchair because it's on a hill & the cement is uneven with no railings. The women's handicap stall is closed off."
"We went to see the Fourth of July fireworks. There were plenty of restrooms and well staffed with police. It was really busy. Not enough parking for the amount of people there. Could have been better regulated. Not much to say about it really"
"Nice place! Enjoyed family time, fishing, food and just relaxing… bathrooms needed a bit of cleaning and hand soap."
"Ottawa, Illinois is a great little town. I like Allen Park...along the Illinois River. First off, one of Peter Toth’s Whispering Giants stands along the river. There are other unique art pieces as well, including two pieces designed using parts from an old bridge. Fun place!"
