Reviews
"Very GOOD Chinese food, lunch specials 7 days a week. Quick service. Best for takeout, small eat-in, few tables. Clean. $11 without drinks."
"I’ve been coming here since I was a kid when my father took me. Very good food, probably the best in the north side. I highly recommend their pot stickers and beef fried rice."
"They're fine for what they are which is a city version of a strip mall Chinese restaurant. It's not particularly inexpensive unless you get a lunch or dinner combo. That's their strength. Otherwise they sometimes close a little early if it's slow. They're not very friendly though not rude. And the quality and timeliness is very inconsistent. My advice, go well before closing and get a combo. If you need more than 3 packets of sauce total, ask them or you won't get it. And they never include hot mustard sauce if you like it, which I do. It's average but not bad."
"Ordered the chicken, broccoli, and onion, and the shrimp and onion curry. Chicken was not very good. The shrimp dish was LITERALLY mostly onions in curry sauce and not much shrimp. The flavors of both were Not Good at All! I tried this place to see what other Chinese food places were good in my area. This is not one of them. Will continue to go to Shanghai Inn. They have the best by FAR. Sorry Lo's China Kitchen, I did at least try."
"Living in the Suburbs it can be difficult to find good Chinese food. I was online searching for restaurants and ran across this one and many others. I usually decide based on reviews because not all places have picture-perfect food. Something about this place stood out the most so me and my husband gave it a try. All I can say is you will not be disappointed! The flavor, the portions, the packaging, the service, and the prices are AMAZING!!!! I'm mad I'm just finding this hidden gem but I'm happy that I did. I live about an hour away and will take that trip in a blink for this place. First time today we ordered the orange chicken (upgraded rice to shrimp fried)11/10, the curry chicken(upgraded rice) 10/10, egg foo young 10/10, fried wings 15/10, and it comes with egg rolls 10/10 the whole family loved it. I will be ordering again"
