"Me and my grandma both use the same go to and had the same doctor and sometimes we have troubles with the front desk (not here but sunrise canyon)but I'm rating it 5 stars kuz Dr Curtis had been helping my grandma Judy out for so long and then I got the chance to have her as my doctor and even tho I didn't like being on the pills (still don't) Dr. Curtis always tried to find the problem, fix it and try to solve it along with checking up on me everytime I went I could tell she really cared and I will really miss having her as my doctor RIP Dr Curtis"
"She recently passed away and it was almost impossible to get the front desk staff to transfer over my records. I’ve been a patient for a little over a year. Don’t get me wrong, Dr. Curtis was a very sweet lady, but the front office staff made it where I couldn’t trust them."
"Dr. Curtis is amazing and I would never see another psychiatrist. I absolutely love her. She always goes above and beyond to make sure I’m OK. My only complaint is that when calling during normal office hours (not during lunch) the phones are not answered. It’s a 65% chance you’re going to get the recording. It’s incredibly frustrating. If you don’t have the time to just spam call them you have a hard time getting things scheduled. Forget about reaching them when they open and immediately after lunch."
"Fortunately I only go to Dr. Curtis for a renewal of my medications and see a counselor for help with anxiety/depression. Even so, I am now seeking a new doctor. When my mom died I asked Dr. Curtis if she knew of a grief recovery group that would be helpful for me. She did not know of any group. Most of the time I just walked into her office and she said, “How are you doing?” I said, “Fine.” She renewed my prescriptions and that was that until the next year. I asked her office staff if they would make an appointment for next year. They said they only made appointments for 6 months ahead of time because their computer schedules didn’t go any farther than that. I told Dr. Curtis about this so she went up to the office window with me and asked the office staff if that is what they told me. They told her that “Of course they made appointments a year in advance!” Then I ran out of refills on my medications and they told me it had been 2 years since I had seen Dr. Curtis! I guess they didn’t really make an appointment for 1 year because usually doctors text you and call you before every appointment. Yes, the office staff is rude and they don’t tell the truth."
"Dr. Curtis is a wonderful psychiatrist, though severely overbooked (like most mental health care professionals right now, especially in TX). Wait times typically range 10-15 mins past appt times but sometimes are up to an hour later; appts can even be canceled as you wait (though this is rare). Her office staff are also some of the rudest and most unhelpful I've ever encountered. They talk down to patients/guardians and treat us like we're stupid, they are often incredibly unhelpful and act like doing their job is an imposition."
