"Gym is super dirty. The locker rooms always smell. The machines are SUPER outdated. For what the gym is charging, it should be cleaned more often and with newer gym equipment. People lack gym etiquette and you see a lot of people just standing around hogging machines especially the afternoon crowds. On a positive note, they finally have friendly people greeting the members."
"I like the gym overall but there is A LOT of room for improvement. There are a lot of options for workout machine, weights, cardio equipment and It's nice to have the pool and Jacuzzi. The sauna is a nice option also. The issues with cleanliness mentioned in several other reviews are pretty accurate. The locker rooms are pretty filthy and the showers are pretty gross. Many of the machines are old and show significant signs of wear and tear. It is also extremely frustrating that the TVs in the cardio area are rarely turned on and the ones that are on are tuned to Propaganda news channels (Fox). I have addressed the TVs being off with management and have contacted customer service several times and nothing changes even though I've been assured on several occasions it would be addressed. Some variety (Sports) would be nice There are some negatives that are somewhat out of control of the facility. Unfortunately, there are a lot of oblivious clients who lack basic awareness and gym etiquette. (ie: returning weights, wiping down equipment, jamming speakers, long breaks between reps staring at phones, etc). There are a lot of nice spaces that seem to be very under utilized. There is a spin room and 2 nice studios that are usually empty with nothing going on in them. The basketball gym is usually hoppin. I can not speak to the daycare or women's facilities as I do not utilize them. This gym has a lot of potential and the good thing is, most of the issues could be fixed fairly easily."
"Start with the entrance...one door has been inoperable for months (they finally put up a sign after New Year's). Then, you're greeted (I use that term loosely) by an employee hiding behind a computer or phone screen (usually the phone). I understand it's early, but put out a little effort to greet your members not just a mumbled 'good morning. There is a glaring lack of equipment here. Evidenced by the view of no barbells on the benches or one of the power racks. Do better. Buy some extra bars. Broken machines. Missing parts for essential equipment. And, these are not one off...they have been like this for months. Many reviews have described the cleanliness of this gym. I could not agree more. It is filthy. From the free weight area, to the machines, to the cardio, and finishing in the locker room. The gym needs to be closed and deep cleaned. It is disgusting. The worst attribute of this gym is the culture. It is very much "about me." People won't re-rack weights, re-rack dumbbells, or return equipment to where it should be returned. Or, they will load up a machine and then walk away after their sets. Really?? As a morning lifter, time is precious and the equipment is limited in any gym (especially this gym with the broken or missing equipment). I understand people have different workouts, but do you really need to camp out on a bench or a rack for an hour plus? I guess the saying is true, you get what you pay for. Time to start shopping for a better gym experience."
"Just reading what most people say and seeing the pictures of this place makes me give this place 1 star . The picks of the employees are so sad to see. No business should post employees. The business should post a clean gym with a lot of machines . Happy families. Oh, also a juice protein bar . This is not a gym . This is a YMCA outfit !"
"Probably 80% of machines work at any point, and the pool and volleyball court are open about the same percent. Managers lock doors 30 minutes before posted hours because "We need to clean the place." I asked why I couldn't enter during open hours and they told me "You broke the rules by coming late" but could not show me the rules. I read my entire contract and this was nowhere in it."
