"The staff is really helpful here and I was able to check out several books. I don't know how many events they have going on but I did see some event flyers at the front desk. You have to have ID to enter this library during the school year."
"We love this library, the kids section is fantastic and the toddler story and sensory play time on sundays is super fun! we'll keep coming back!"
"I rate this library three stars for various reasons! First, lets start off with the positive. I commend the Molly Pruitt Library for its impressive wide variety of books available to both the public and rough riders. #Roughriderpride I would most definitely recommend this library for those who merely wish to check out some books! Although, there are some negatives I must bring to light... For those who wish to lounge in the library, BEWARE! I spent a morning in this library to get some work done. All was well until...an employee's phone was irresponsibly left unattended in an office within the library. Why is this such an issue? Well this phone was left to RINGGG for hours straight, for the entire library to hear. An alarm was blaring non-stop! And no one stepped in to put the alarm to an end. This was extremely distracting, loud, and obnoxious! On top of that, the library insisted on playing "relaxing" music for all to hear. This on its own is undesirable for those in search of peace and quite. But what ruffled my feathers were the continuous ads playing from the music. No one bothered to step in and skip the bothersome YouTube ads. Some of which were extremely long! The staff here, from my experience, are very neglectful! I do not recommend the Molly Pruitt library for those in search of a peaceful, ad free, work space. Unless you have a pair of noise canceling headphones/earbuds ;) P.S. There are spiders crawling about in the restrooms. EKK! P.S.S. If you're a highschooler and fancy football boys I recommend going early in the morning! ;P"
"I can't stress enough the importance of public libraries! This library offers a bazillion activities to get involved with: poetry, crafts, chess, animals, music, etc. etc. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The books are in great shape! Sheri, one of the librarians, was out of this world. And Sheron, a librarian in training, has contagious energy and excitement. Located inside a high school, but great for the whole family."
"Never knew this library was there till my wife read about a Lego building thing they do on Sunday afternoons. Smaller library for sure, but it's nice, and the staff is great. We'll definitely be back."
