"Awesome playground, especially for elementary aged kids. Zip line is lots of fun, three tiered castle with lots of slides, and shaded benches and some trees if you want to get out of the sun."
"The kids castle is a really awesome playground inside of Deerpath Park. The highlight is definitely the titular castle, which is three stories tall with slides on each level, but there's also a merry-go-round, seesaw, a slew of swings (with different accessibility options), and two other playground structures aimed at a younger crowd. The ground is all recycled rubber, so it's soft to fall on. My only real complaint is that parking is a ways away from the park, like a quarter mile or so, next to the tennis courts. Definitely something to be aware of IMHO."
"I remember this park when it was made out of wood. It was a great spot to go play freeze tag or to do parkour before it was cool and also great hiding spots. Now the park has definitely modernized the ground is a soft rubbery and It’s still has a kids castle theme. Hi now enjoy bringing my family here when we are around the area they have nice bathroom that is set up next to the park which is a new. It used to be that you have to walk a mile to go to the bathroom so this definitely helps out. It also connects to other parks it’s a great spot to just go do a nice walk or if anything bring a basket and some food to make a picnic."
"I feel so lucky to have this amazing park in my backyard. It is a perk within a series of parks and trails that are difficult to match. The original park was built in the 1990s by community volunteers. The new park that replaced it, while not as cool and unique, did apple the perpetual bee problem and is pretty amazing too. I walk by it every day and it always has people there though not always crowded. From my experience it dries out quickly after a rain but people still shy away so that is the best time to go if yo I want it all to yourself. Bring a small towel to wipe off a swing and you are good to go. The engineering of the ground material is amazing and drain unbelievably fast. My friend was in town from Iowa and is a City Administrator out there was shocked at the material the ground is made up of in the entire playground. It is “state of the art and extremely expensive.”"
"Took a 40min drive to check out this playground/park, it was so beautiful and well taken care of! They provide a nice path to go bicycle riding or riding a scooter. A few ponds in the area & lots of beautiful trees. The playground was well kept and I love that it's turf and not sand or wood chips haha. Parent win, am I right? I will definitely come back! Next time I'll bring my son's bike with:) OH and I did see two police officers on bikes patrolling the area- which I absolutely loved! Made me feel so much safer with my little one there."
