"Don't recommend this school. Many schools give kids free dress and they dont have to pay. This force u to pay for everything. Mrs. Odom is a horrible person and she is an assistant principal. And then kids csnt wear certain shoes in gym. You spend tons of money of school uniforms. Also they call you to pick up kids even when the kid ain't sick. And they doing after 10 because the kids are counted here which was mentioned to me one time while picking up my child. Also teachers are really not teaching children here. Stay far away from this school if possible."
"The staff is wonderful. Albeit, the students are impossible to deal with. A teacher can ONLY do so much. A parent can discipline a child. Yet a teacher can send home referrals. I strongly URGE the parent's to fully focus on your child's behavior at home and fix it. If they can't get along with their siblings than more than likely they won't get along with others at school. PAY ATTENTION to your children. School is not a daycare to dump your kids off. It's a campus filled with Teachers who are dedicated to teaching your children academically Not morality! That is your job at home! As a parent I strongly encourage parent's to do unexpected visits at the school and attend field trips especially for 3rd grade and up because that's usually the grades the bullying begins and you will be surprised what you can find out about your child through other students. GET ENVOLVED. GET IN THE KNOW. It begins with us parent's how we raise our kids. The bullying will stop if each and every parent stops the nonsense saying of " If anyone hits you hit them back" That is not something you will be saying to the judge and in the long run you're hurting your child for thinking like this and as the saying goes, if you can't raise them well then the system will do it for You!"
"Children were not challanged academically . Many of the teachers in middle school would never return phone calls even if it was brought to admin attention . My children learned so many bad habits , comments and words , worse than when they were in public school . Once , my middle school child reached out to admin for help with an incident and instead of thoroughly investigating my son was punished . I was very disappointed with most staff/admin , academics and school environment . Not what I expected at all !"
"I have two children there. One of them likes it the other one hates it. It is a beautiful campus, but I have had issue with how some of the teachers and students don't know how to act. When i brought up an issue I had with a teacher and another student, my complaint fell on deaf ears. It seems some students and teachers are allowed to act out in terrible ways without consequence and it is disheartening. No school will be perfect I know, but they should at least take seriously when one student assaults another or when you mention a teacher is having adult conversations with the class instead of just brushing it off like its no big deal. If your kid goes here just be sure to ask a lot of questions about how their days are. You want to make sure you know what's going on in the classroom."
"My son first time pre-k there and over all for him great he loves he's teacher he has learn so much and everyone try's to be nice. At the end of the day it's not a school building its a church no play ground it was so sad to see the play ground. On a personal note I never saw the principal there always late or leaving early it's none of my business but she was never there like the rest of the ladies."
