"I liked it at first, my daughter was actually challenged which was better than the last school. She did say that a lot of questions were not answered by teachers so if a child struggles with school already it would just be harder. Then I got a call from her teacher ms. Williams that my daughter got caught pushing a little girl and bullying so that she was concerned about her behavior. I immediately didn’t allow my daughter to go to the dance, took away her phone and contacted the school so that my daughter could apologize for her behavior. It took almost a week before I was told she had absolute nothing to do with it and that my daughter was telling the truth the whole time. Then she got her phone taken away at school months later (which was not the problem, she knows better than to have her phone) and when she went to get it after school to let me know she got out early release they refused to give her the phone and said her parent would have to pick it up. She explained that the numbers were in the phone and she needed it so we could pick her up. She was told she could use the office phone but the office lady was already gone so that she couldn’t get one of our numbers. I understand keeping the phone but as a teacher for her safety someone should have at least let her write down a number so she could call from the office. So come 5:00pm I find out m daughter had been out since 315 and cannot find her or get a hold of her at all. I go in talk to mr. Dickey the next day who informs me policy says after a phone is taken away twice a parent should get involved, but I guess the exception was me because at no time was I informed of her phone being a distraction. Then mr. jones says she was caught with her phone multiple times which turns into at least 1 time because not one teacher can admit that they were wrong. Ms. Williams, mr. jones and mr. Dickey are liars."
