"I would have to say this is a pretty good school i was there for at least a month and learned alot. But I have to say that some of the teachers wouldn't really teach that well some know how to teach but some dont. There's a few who just dont onow how to teach and some that just dont care what you do. But other then that I really recommend this school it helped me out alot I made lots of friends and there's very rarely any fights or bullying."
"I went to MS at Tejeda for 6th and 7th grade but went here for 8th. I was bullied, ridiculed at Tejeda, I told teachers but they didn't listen, or care. I was unhappy, depressed, I was alone and everyone made fun of me because the "cool" kids were making fun of me. The boys called me ugly and fat, the girls would agree, and the teachers would laugh. They would laugh. Only one of my teachers ever stuck up for me. They didn't care because they thought it would make me stronger. My grades dropped because of it, i was going through a lot. My grandfather died when I was in seventh grade leaving me at a very vulnerable place. My mom emailed teachers, I went to the administrators, and no one cared. They all acted as if I just wanted attention, they never had the time to listen, they couldn't spend too much time on such a small problem. Small. Understatement of the decade! Well things, I thought, got worse when my parents decided to sell our house and move into a nicer neighborhood(not because I was bullied, just because it was time to lol!) I didn't think I would have to go to a different school, but I did. I was scared that people would see the same thing the other kids would and they really wouldn't like me bcs i came from their "enemy school". Tex Hill changed my life for the better. Ik that sounds really cliche and exaggerated but i'm serious. I'm a fun, outgoing person, and tejeda ruined my self confidence, everything. The first day I walked into Tex hill, I tried really hard to be nice and outgoing but I just felt fake and i could see everyone knew that. The teachers welcomed me in though, they were amazing, they were nice, always asking if I needed help with anything, super outgoing, understanding, and even excited to teach, which made us excited to learn, i'd never seen that before, it was amazing. Soon I warmed up to the kids and they warmed up to me, I'm not kidding you by saying but in the span of the first two months there, everyone knew my name, and I had no drama, no disputes, and everyone was my friend. That was an amazing experience for me. The counselors cared, the front desk ladies are always so sweet, and teachers and admins are always looking to see the best in everyone, they even knew almost every kid and i mean everyone, by name. If you are wondering to send your kid to tejeda or tex hill send them to hill, it is a newer school and they don't win everything they compete in, but its because everyone works together, and the teachers don't push and push, and they care. It's like one big huge family there. Every teenage kid is going to have disputes with their peers, but I honestly can't remember one big drama ever happening while I was there. Your kid will learn to accept everyone, will have a more positive attitude, and will most likely change for the better. Idk if anyone will read all of this but I truly love Tex hill and will always think of it as my real middle school and I'm not writing this for pity, far from it actually, I'm a better person because of these teachers, these students, this school! Every school should try to be like this one. I think it's proof enough that a former student(me) would write all this when they're supposed to be doing their high school homework. Send your kid to this school, they deserve to be in this kind of an environment. Not Tejeda's because although they may win a lot of sports and fine arts awards but that means nothing if all of their students are filled with drama and hate. I'm using this school's name bcs i want to spread awareness and They might read this and reach out to me, maybe block my comment, maybe even recognize me, they're not a good school. Kids will be kids sure but teachers should never react to bullying the way they did with my case, and I wouldn't wish upon anyone the way i felt about myself in that time. I will continue to stress this, but I've said my part, now it's in your hands, do what you will but please try to take what i've said into consideration. Thank you. Stop the hate, and go Tigers! All my love and support, Lily."
"Tex Hill could not be more fun. The school is huge, my teachers are amazing, I am engaged in class, and the students are mostly nice. There are lots of clubs and sports available for students to participate in, and everybody I know loves it!"
"I'm a student at this school and I want to thank god for building this school, they have the best normal and grill line lunches served in NEISD and some of the best teachers and coaches on this campus. I would definitely recomend any parent send their kids to this campus for 6th,7th and 8th grade"
"Parents make hard decisions for their children all the time, but moving to NEISD from a different district was in the top 5 hardest decisions I have ever made for my children to move into a new district, new teachers, new administration & new neighbors. I could not be more pleased with NEISD, Teachers & Administration of Tex Hill!"
