"Mrs. Victoria is the best. She is patient and unbelievably knowledgeable. Mrs. Serena is my advisor and she has been super supportive and helpful throughout my entire experience at PIMA."
"I am in the medical assistant program and i can say that the program and the experience is fun but challenging getting work done. but also doing hands on experience is good, but always have to have time to study and review for exam and especially for certification exam. overall the teacher are great and they help you understand the topics you are struggling in and help you with hands on as well when having a difficult time getting it done. the experience overall is amazing, get to meet new people and experience a whole different vibe than anything else."
"I am a current Medical Assistant at Pima. I came to Pima looking to start a career for myself and I have found so much more. I absolutely love working with Mrs. Hall and Professor Bridgeman. They are knowledgeable and obviously enjoy teaching and make the entire experience a blast. I feel like I will leave their classroom ready to handle my career and with knowledge that will help me as I continue my journey. It is also great coming to the building every morning to Ms Tori greeting me at the front desk. She is friendly, helpful, and always has a smile!"
"I went in initially for a tour and gather information. It didn't take long for me to enroll and become a pharmacy tech student. I knew I didn't want to draw blood nor help with animals. Once I saw pharmacy tech, it was like, "BINGO!!" The program, though difficult at times, is thoroughly enjoyable. I love the instructors they are there to build their students and send them out into the world of pharmacy for us to grow our new careers. From call center hopping, to medical field soon-to-be employee (from my mouth to God's ears and after winning my extern site over). It was the best decision I've made and if you need a sign, THIS IS IT!!"
"I dropped out my Junior year of high school. I settled for less than almost 13 years until I was working at burger boy and thought to myself this can’t be it for me. So I obtained my ged and then so many doors opened and I didn’t know what to do then I saw a commercial about Pima and thought let me check this out. I went for open house and the vibe was so calm and everyone was very welcoming. It didn’t feel like they were feeding me a story to get paid. So I enrolled my teachers throughout my time here have all been amazing. In the beginning it was very different I mean I’ve never heard of some of the stuff I was learning. I freaked but my teachers helped me so much when I didn’t understand something. Then it was smooth sailing I was going through classes like I’ve been in medical for years. I did run across some difficulties and took some time off I was already so close to finishing but things come up I almost thought I wouldn’t finish. I finally decided it was time to come back and finish what I started and this MA program has not only helped me grow as s person but it’s also given me the confidence that when I go into the field I’m gonna be fully prepared to do my job. When I came into the hands on part of the program I found myself in Professor Bridgeman classroom I felt like ok I got this. Her teaching style is very different than what I was used too and I thought it was all overwhelming but I fought through it. I finally realized she wasn’t trying to be harsh ion us she is making us the best MA we can be. I almost gave up but I believe my teachers all gave me some advice and the harder it got the more I wanted to cross that finish line. Here I am finally on my way to externship and after that graduation. I dropped out high school, my ged graduation was during Covid so no walking the stage but here I am 33 years old and I’m finally going to walk the stage. No way I could of done this without each and every one at this institute. From the receptionist, to career services , to all the amazing teachers from all programs especially my MA program teachers thank you for giving me this new career and mainly for believing in me when I didn’t believe in myself. Financial aid too was easy and they are very helpful and supportive . Thank you Pima Medical Institute!"
