"I went to this school back in 2008 and it was the worst decision I ever made. they have since moved locations and after reading the reviews even after getting a face lift the school is still pretty bad. its embarrassing to have this degree on my resume and the credits never transferred to any Alamo colleges at the time after I graduated. It is better to do your basics at Alamo Colleges and then transfer to UTSA or somewhere else, it will also be a lot cheaper than this school. I did the IT program during my time there the professors didn't teach, everything was open book for testing, and if you didn't want to do any of the work but show up, you could bribe some of the teachers with breakfast tacos and pass with an A. The equipment they used for this program was all out of date and nothing you would of seen in the workforce. either way, I don't recommend this school to anyone, its a scam, you will be in debt, and good luck finding a job that cares about the hallmark degree."
"This university is a diamond in the rough! From the caring instructors to the positivity throughout the campus. The evolving curriculum (based on industry standards and state requirements) are improving with every term. I also see constant improvement to the infrastructure and quality of the staff and leaders to help Hallmark grow. Great place to learn without the fluff courses and high tuition fees of larger universities. Highly recommended!"
"I am a graduate of the Bachelor of Science in Information Systems and am currently an MBA student at Hallmark. I love the educational experience I have received here. The instructors are very knowledgeable, motivating, and genuinely care about my success. They have worked with me to understand the material and to obtain my certifications (CompTia A+, Security+, Network+, and Cisco CCENT and CCNA). As a military veteran, I used my Post 911 GI Bill and the financial Planning department made the process quick and easy, I never had to worry about my tuition payments. The admissions process was also great, Roberto understood my needs and helped me enroll quickly and easily, he also contacted me to see how I was doing and was there to answer any questions. I completed the Bachelor program in 28 months and started the 14 month MBA right away. With hard work and motivation and support from everyone at Hallmark, I will have my MBA; all this in under 4 years! I am so glad I decided to come here."
"Prior to attending Hallmark, my experience with higher learning opportunities, whether civilian or military university/college found me wanting more in delivery or involvement from my instructors/professors who I found lacking in qualities of connection with the students, myself included of course. Hallmark was my last destination and final attempt for a Bachelor’s Degree; I was very fortunate to have an opportunity with Hallmark. Attending Hallmark empowered me; every instructor/professor awards every scholar a unique one on one experience in great abundance through provision of delivery and involvement that I have never experienced anywhere else thus far. If you want hands on experience (which not every University/College offers) and appreciate a good challenge, I recommend giving Hallmark University a chance!"
"I went to this school in 2007 for an Associate's of Applied Science in Business Office Administration. I completed the program and obtained my degree. Five years later I am still without a job that pertains to my degree. Any employer I go to does not even bother to ask about the degree or seem to care that I have one. It's like having two high school diplomas when you only needed one in the first place. I used Hallmark's career placement services twice and they stopped trying to help me within one month of attempting to utilize their services and were not successful in job placement, which is supposed to be their own job! I have been working customer service jobs with no opportunity for advancement that pay just above minimum wage ever since thanks to Hallmark. I have been using the Texas Workforce to find me the right job with the right pay and am currently receiving unemployment. I am also in the process of trying to get my student loans forgiven, as they have only put me in debt instead of led me down the path towards a happy career. Do not attend this school, it is like high school all over again! Go to one of the Alamo Colleges instead, your money is better invested there! If I would've known I was paying 18k for a useless piece of paper that got me nowhere, I would've told these scammers to shove it a long time ago! Seriously, Alamo Colleges is the way to go! For a better future, go to a REAL college!"
