"I’ve been with this school on and off since 2012 and I really love this school. The professors are very knowledgeable and very nice and helpful and so is the staff and advisors and the facility very clean. There is always a lot going on although I never lived on campus, it was always something going on and the study groups are amazing and I had good tutors."
"I had a horrible experience with UTA. It’s very unorganized. The nursing advisors are rude. It’s almost like they get bothered when students call. The whole process of registering or dropping classes is a mess and you’re on your own."
"I just recd my Post-Masters FMP via the accelerated online program and although challenging, the experience was very rewarding even while rotating during the early stages of the Pandemic. I was more than prepared for boards and even tested without taking a FNP study course. I’m very glad a made the choice to attend UTA."
"So I’m am suppose to start classes in January. And no one I mean no one knows how to set up the direct deposit for mymav. I have been pushed around within different departments of their offices and no one knows what is going on. They just keep saying the same thing that they understand my frustrations. It’s kinda funny how everyone knows exactly what is going on to get you in and than when it comes to you getting your left over fasfa to buy your books they don’t know anything. And keep giving you the run around. Wish I had a more organize school to go to that was willing to help you when it comes to your books which means your GPA. Plus I live in San Antonio soooooo I cant just show up at the bookstore. Ohhhhh and today I found out that I am suppose to get my fasfa a day before classes. Again I can not just show up to the college and buy my books around the corner"
"I used to hear that UTA's nursing program had a reputation of being one of the top nursing schools in the nation. However, recently, a colleague of mine was contacted by a representative of the program to complete her application and all needed requirements. My colleague spent money on official transcripts, testing fees, etc. Once she submitted her materials, UTA stopped communicating with her. She attempted to make contact with them via email and/or phone calls. No response. In my opinion it is not that serious. And, why did they notify her and invite her to re-apply? Did this school need money that bad?? Really UTA??? Really?? I encouraged my colleague to go and apply @ TWU."
