"DONT GO HERE as a Student or costumer.!!!!!This place is setting up student for future FAILURE. I went to get a haircut here on Thursday Dec 21,2023 to support black business and give student barbers opportunities to get more haircut hours. As a black man, I was beyond disappointed with how I was treated by the instructor who was sitting by the door. He was beyond rude (a grown black man with pettiness) towards me (costumer) for NO apparent reason before and after I paid him. It’s the look other ethnic groups give us when they don’t want to provide business for us. I thought maybe he’s having a bad day but he turned and started joking with other people. I let it go and went to the student of his choice to cut my hair. The poor student (she just started school 2 months ago) told me that she has NEVER cut the style I requested after she had already cut my hair. Of course it was terrible. Not once did the instructor came to check on her. The instructor cut one costumer then sat on his chair talking and laughing to other students. AGAIN, NOT once did he come to the chair I was to see if the student was cutting the right way. I had to tell the student how to properly fade. She was trying without any guidance from the instructor. And that’s the instructor’s job. I truly feel sorry for the students that are under this particular instructor. He’s just there for the cash. I wish I got his name so I can let everyone know here. I always go to barber colleges (especially black owned) to get my haircut, BUT this here was a mess. Conclusion, I went to another shop and paid AGAIN for him to fix my hair."
"Barber Ro cut my hair today and did a wonderful job! I was asked what I wanted during the process instead of the barber deciding for me because I forgot to tell them something in the beginning. I got a haircut that I actually loved for cheap. Only thing is they need to update their electronic sign, it no longer costs $8 it costs $10 for a haircut. They only accept cash, it would be nice if in the future they accepted card as payment as well."
"This place needs some serious improvement. I love going here for my boys’ cuts with Chopper, but their system is terrible and unfair. I went in at 11 this morning and was told it would be an hour to two hour wait. There were people who came in after us that got their haircuts before my boys did. When I finally said something, I was told that it went in order of reciepts, but there was none of that going on. I didn’t leave there until after 4! I think it would benefit your clientele if there was a sign in sheet or a number system, not the students picking and choosing who they want!!!"
