"I attempted to take a class for my apprentice renewal, and paid and enrolled in a course that did not meet the requirements for TDLR. I have called and sent emails asking if it would be possible to change the enrollment to a course that would be accepted by TDLR. after one initial reply via email that did not address any of my questions, there has been no communication or acknowledgement. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone seeking continuing education hours."
"This institution continues to impress me as the years go by! Friendly Staff, Knowledgeable & Encouraging Instructors, & an exceptional Director! The possibilities offered here are hard to find elsewhere. Take advantage of what is in front of you and let your Electrical Career unfold!"
"IEC offers a great learning experience. They have great instructors who want you to succeed! I highly recommend IEC to anyone who wants to start a career as an electrician."
"Great trade school to learn the concepts of electricity and modern electrical construction techniques. A 4-year apprenticeship is required to get the journeyman license, and this is a good place to do it. They send you to contractors for job interviews, and tuition is very low. Instructors are currently working in the field and teach on the side, so their knowledge is current and relevant. This is a wonderful opportunity for any young person who enjoys working with his hands and brain."
"They're pretty cool, Lots of great guys. Would rate higher but they had to move half of the classes to a good will instead of their main campus due to size problems. If you're looking for a trade, these guys know what's up and will work with you to make sure you get your certifications. Their labs are pretty simple and everyone there past the first year is there to learn so the class clowns drop out early"
