Paid for time extensions but nothing was done, my subscription expired and I did not receive my exam vouchers. I cannot even get in touch with their helpdesk. UTA needs to stop doing business with this company. Total waste!"

"I signed up for a technical writing course with this company through UTA in October 2017. The course materials were good, however after reading about the program recognition and evaluating how much the course would actually help my career, (I am a Data Analyst, currently) I shortly changed my mind about this program. I never completed an exam or read beyond the first chapter of the textbook. I sent an email to the company in December asking them to cancel my payment plan. By mistake, I sent the email to myself, but did not realize it at the time. However - World Education stopped billing me for almost a year after my email was sent so I thought my email went through. Fast forward 12 months, they start charging my card again, out of the blue. November 1, a payment of $153 was charged to my card, I thought maybe it was a final payment that was missed a year before. OK. Then I was charged again on December 1. There was no reasonable explanation for the charge so I called and talked to Michael Freeman, he explained that my cancellation email was never received. OK. Fine. At this point is where I searched my sent items and realized I sent the cancellation email to myself. I explained to Michael that I never used the course and how they stopped charging me for 12 months, so I thought it was officially cancelled. I did not dispute the two payments that went though simply because it was my mistake for not getting the email to them. I thought it was VERY APPARENT that I would never use this course and did not want to be changed anymore. Well.. here we are, January 3, and they have charged my card AGAIN. Michael never answered my email asking why payments started up again after 12 months of no charges. I think this company is really out to just get your money."
