"This is an honest review of what happened to me while going here. Never in my life have I had such an awful experience with a service I paid. First off, this school doesnt teach u how to cut hair, this is 1 of those schools to go to for the license. They legit tell u to learn hair cutting on ur own yet u literally pay around 7k for a license so if that doesn’t suit you go to a place that actually teaches you how to cut hair & gets u ur license without the need of buying useless textbooks. 2nd, 1 of the owners which is a lady is on a power trip forsure, if she doesnt like u she will withhold chances to better urself or to get more ahead with school work if ur behind on certain subjects. 3rd, shes racist this lady legit turned away a potential student based off how he looks , his race, & from other times she’s spoken to him, u could tell the guy just got off of work so he was dirty & real sweaty but all he wanted was info of the school to better his life & each time he came here he was given the run around to the point he was getting upset & she turned him down & told students that she did that because their kind always racially profiles us so it’s okay if we do it to them in turn. Like are you foreal? When is any form of racism okay? Also she tries to groom her instructors to being authoritarian jerks to the students expecting no sir yes sir which is fine to an extent but she goes further and makes it if you do one thing she doesnt like (u dont even have to be aware she doesn’t like it) if u do it she automatically doesn’t like u & treats you like a second rate student. It’s like you’re constantly walking on eggshells here like she yelled at some students once because they put laughing emojis on the student group me & acted as if they were being disrespectful¬ acting like adults like what??? She literally will slap “disrespect” on anything she doesnt like & if you don’t like that then okay leave they already have ur money & they know that & that’s what they’re hoping for. They think oh he paid money we can treat him however & expect him to bow a knee because he’s financially tethered to us. I get it these kids are young & can act out sometimes to their little friends but don’t try & sell the idea that students replying with a laughing emoji on a text is sacrilegious. I legitimately got written up once for calling an instructor bro & I didn’t even mean it in a disrespectful way it’s just slips out sometimes with younger folks but in no way is it meant to be “disrespectful”. How you gonna write someone up for such a silly thing & tell them if it slips out again you’re kicked out of the school??? I remember the first time I tried to speak to her to present myself as one of her new students when I was already enrolled & she straight up ignored me like wow how welcoming. Even the first time I went into the school for information her main instructor caught an attitude with me because SHE wasnt being clear on something we were talking about &even started smacking the palm of her hand with her fist because she was getting impatient with her own poor clarification. That should have been the first red flag to me but I ignored it hoping it would get better & that maybe she was having a bad day but nope that attitude persisted all throughout my time at the school. After that incident with calling someone “bro” I went to go apply at another school & the school headmaster thought what I told him was crazy & was so understanding of the situation & told me to go back to a&m & ask them to drop me from the state barber license registry so they could add me under them because it can all be done in a day real easy & I did that & I told the owner if she could take me off the registry & she lied to me & said it would take up to 30 days to get it done so pretty much I have to most likely wait a little over a month now to continue with schooling/bettering my life all because this lady felt salty for me leaving the school. Literally hindering my ability advance in life how ridiculous. Absolute worst services I’ve ever paid for."
