"My daughter loves cooking and trying new things. Being a chef is one of her dreams. When signing up, I thought it would be more intense. However, we enjoy the team cooking. My only thing is that would say is something we had to adjust to is cooking pork. We are a Pork free family, so that was an adjustment. They sometimes have vegetarian options when cooking pork. It can be costly"
"My step-daughter attended classes here for several years until COVID. It taught herso much more than just culinary skills, although that was huge. She learned how to follow directions, work with others to achieve a common goal, and she tried new foods that she never would have tried for us at home. When she was finally old enough and responsible enough and Carla let her use a real knife (and not just the plastic knife) she felt like she had really acheived something. Carla was so amazing with her and she couldnt wait until the next week's class to see her again. She may not even know it, but Carla made such a huge impact on her life and helped to bring her out of her shell. She still talks about her and all the things she learned and will quickly let us know when we do something in the kitchen that Carla taught her was unsafe or taught her a better way to do it. We even celebrated her birthday there and loved sharing our cooking experiences with friends and family that day too. I can't thank Young Chefs Academy, Carla, and all the incredible instructors for all they did for Addy."
"We had my daughters 7th birthday here and I was blown away at how engaging and FUN it was! My daughter (and all her friends) haven’t stopped talking about it. Chef Carla has a gift with kids and was phenomenal!"
"My daughter (10) and son (8) have attended a few classes at the Young Chef's Academy. They loved it! If you child loves to be in the kitchen, this is the place they should try. All the cooking is geared toward their age group. The chefs and assistants teach the kids proper use of knives, oven/stove safety and plan meals. Since the kids are in a kitchen, they will need to listen and follow directions because it is a safety issue if they don't. The teachers are very patient and love being there. They are very respectful to the kids and adults. This is a great opportunity to open the door for your child's love of cooking and baking."
"It is a fantastic cocking school. The chef teachers are profisional and patient with kids. They follow the safety rules. My kids love to go there. I recommend this amazing school for everyone. I hope they open another branch in Arlington, TX. There working hours are varies, you need to call or visit to get more information."
