"I absolutely love this place! I was losing all hope when it came to getting help for my child until someone recommended Hope Center for Autism. My child was non-communicative and had tantrums regularly. She has been attending for now for years and has transitioned to the school to which has proven to help her even more with acclimating her with her peers. She loves attending and is ready to go see her friends regularly. She has changed sooooo much and is able to tell me things she wants as well as her tantrums being less and less as time progresses. Susan, the director, has been so supportive with all of my inquiries about how to better support my child at home even when I have probably bugged her more than any parent could have! I wish I could rate this place with more stars because after being close to losing all hope with getting help for my child, Hope Center has opened up doors for both my kid and myself that I didn’t think was possible. I look forward to seeing more and more progress from my little one and am grateful to see her so happy!"
"I know Susan very well as well as some of the staff. They care greatly about Autism Awareness and help countless children with Autism in their school. I have seen the success stories of children they have helped to become functional and develop abilities to be able to eventually help themselves. They work with parents to be able to develop a successful development plan for each student to give them the best chance at a successful future."
"The Founders of this amazing organization is one of the few services that provides excellence therapy for children and their families struggling to cope with having a love one diagnosed with Autism. Hope Center for Autism works closely with each child in the utmost loving, caring and safest atmosphere. I have recommend this organization to many of my friends and family who have children and young adults, who are trying to make sense of this disability. I can not stress enough, there is hope for your precious love one."
"Hope Center 4 Autism is an outstanding therapy center and school! The support given to clients and their families is without a doubt some of the best out there. I’ve seen first hand non verbal kids begin to speak and learn. I’ve had students that were once non verbal ask ME how I was! Incredible! Seeing the amount of growth and development in theses kids makes me wish everyone touched by autism could be a part of the Hope Center. The director, Susan Wood, and all of her staff work tirelessly for these kids whether it’s through therapy, training, answering countless emails from people seeking help, fundraising or spreading awareness. This is truly their passion and a great labor of love."
"Hate to even post this, my daughter has been with the hope center for going on 2 years she recently switched over to the school side, she started having meltdowns in morning when it was time to go to school so as a concerned parent we addressed the issue to try to find out what was going on (shes 4) it’s hurtful not knowing why she didn’t want to be there. My wife sent several emails stating her concern we even thought it may be something visual in the classroom because she was happy go lucky up until the meltdowns started, a teacher invited my wife in to peek around and see that my daughter was ok which made my wife feel a lot better and we thought maybe paisley was having a really hard time doing transitions. A week in half later received an email from Susan wood stating how at this point we were just going in circles and she asked how would we like our daughters day to look? Well we would definitely love to have some comfort and reassurance that our daughter was fine, instead was greeted with another email stating they cannot provide services for my daughter anymore. As a parent we should feel comfortable Addressing issues and concerns that we have, that’s our job as parents!!! They advocate so deeply for autism and not leaving a child behind but when we started asking questions that all changed which they should put that in Their policy to other families as well. I put up with my daughters diaper not being correctly changed and her not being correctly wiped multiple times and her having to sit like that the rest of the day in her class knowing my daughter cannot speak and tell someone. My four-year-old also came home with a scratch on her face which has left a scar but I was told it was from another student which I want to believe but at this point they were so quick to disregard my child’ that may be my child was too much and that’s why she was kicked out. Which we have now opened an investigation to make sure everything is legal. I would like to say Troy at the hope center and Laura OT are amazing people and have showed kindness The whole time my child was at the Hope center. As far as Susan I don’t know what happened she used to have some sort of heart for children or at least I thought she did. Beware parents if you feel something is wrong then definitely speak up for your little one, we are their voices"
