"Dr. Higginbothom is absolutely amazing! I am giving this 4 stars because her receptionist Maria is not very professional. Every time I call the office Maria has a very slick attitude and acts as though calling the office is a problem. Any time I try to schedule an appointment I am met with resistance by Maria, a snide remark is given or she will mumble under her breath; especially AFTER me giving her my name. Today, after I told her my name she mumbled “ohhhh yeah” with an attitude. It would be nice if I could call the office and speak with someone who seems as though they enjoy their job and has no bias towards anyone. I would like to call an office knowing that the receptionist does her job just as well and as professional as the Doctor she works under. I never knew calling you seek care for my health was such an issue. Maria most definitely changes my experience every time and not in a positive manner. Again the doctor is AMAZING and she knows her stuff."

"This review isn’t about my appointment because I never got it. I saw the great reviews and with me being new to HTX I was in need of a new OB, so I scheduled my 2pm appointment. When I got there I was told my appointment was at 2:30, which I know wasn’t true because I live my life based off my calendar and put it in once I booked it. Then I waited about 5 minutes for someone to come to the door and I was told I couldn’t park in the back, okay fine. Then I get back to the door where my temperature was taken, but then I was spray with something and I’m highly allergic to a variety of things. This came with no warning or consent. This is when I knew I wouldn’t be staying. I love supporting black business and I’m sadden that I wasn’t able to experience great review I’ve seen."
