"Although I had a pleasant experience with the medical providers, including Dr Vila-Wright, dealing with the front office staff was so horrendous at this hospital that I left for a different clinic to see a new doctor. The staff in the front office once left a voicemail that someone would reach out at a certain time about scheduling a follow up visit. That call came and happened to roll to voicemail like many mobile phones cause, so I called back immediately (within a minute) only to be put on hold for 30mins(!!) and then receive their hang up. The staff putting me on hold for unreasonable lengths of time happened twice. It was also impossible to work out issues when I needed to talk about my insurance or billing issues. Not only that, but the front office workers take a daily two (2!) hour lunch break. Never in my life has a doctor’s office been so unresponsive, untrained to take a message, and unable to provide assistance."

Wait time was only about 20 minutes but I was seen quickly by the nurse and Doctor once I was in my room. Dr. Vila herself was very friendly and professional. She eased my nerves and is very caring. I used to go to another women's care group in Houston and I was treated like cattle in a meat factory: I was just a credit card number to them. But with Dr. Vila-Wright, the personal care she affords each patient is apparent. She goes the extra mile to make your visit pleasant and as brief as possible, a huge plus in my busy workdays.
