"Complete Fence was great to work with. Ken helped us through the whole process from helping us decide where to put the fence exactly, measuring and quoting our job. He walked us through, helped us get the permits and was available to call throughout the whole process. The actual installation had a couple hiccups, from project leaders getting changed last minute, not anything the company could have predicted. But everyone worked hard in the heat, and checked each panel for leveling and asked us to come out and check it ourselves and approve. The project came out great, and we really like our fence, not many Fence companies in the area could source and install the exact fence type that we wanted, the Bufftech Fence, that was more of a realistic wood look, which we hope to have less maintenance over the years. We wished we could have had the fence a bit straighter along the top, but were advised that was not possible with the grading of our yard sloping in the middle, so came up with a compromise solution of the stair stepping towards the corners. In all we have been enjoying our fence since this summer. And looks amazing with our landscape and patio design by Ross and Jacks in Elmhurst."
"I recently worked with Complete Fence for the installation of a new fence around my property, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was seamless and professional. I appreciated the responsiveness and ongoing communication from Ken throughout the process. The whole team was always patient with answering my questions and addressing any concerns. When it came to the installation itself, the team was on time, thorough, and detailed orientated. They worked efficiently and completed the job within a few days despite a few snowstorms. Overall, I am very satisfied with the service provided by Complete Fence. They exceeded my expectations in every aspect, and I would recommend them to anyone in need of fencing services."
"Our fence was well overdue to be replaced. Working with Ken was incredibly easy and he couldn’t have been better throughout the process. He worked with us every step of the way and made sure things were just how we wanted them. The install crew was professional and knowledgeable and were always very friendly and polite while on our property. I highly recommend Complete Fence for anyone that needs a new or replacement fence!"
"Here’s what I knew about fences – they keep things in. Here’s what I knew about building a fence on your own property – jack sh*%. But you know who knew everything about both these things? My guy Ken Lombardo. By the time our fence was up, his hand must have been hurting, cause he had to hold my hand through the whole process. From the first step of dealing with our township to the last step of saying good-bye to our fence crew, Ken was there to answer all my questions openly and honestly. I mean, I’m not the type of person who’s going to throw 5 figures at anything without knowing exactly what I’m getting. He patiently answered all my questions, and then answered them again if I forgot something. When there was a potential for a slight delay in getting the materials, he contacted me right away. That’s not an easy call for a sales guy to make, but he navigated his way though the conversation to the point I felt completely confident in everything he was saying. In the end, there wasn’t even a delay. The reason I bring this up is most companies will blindside you last minute with delays and blame this person or that person. Ken didn’t wait until it was too late, he told me before it even happened…and then it didn’t even come to fruition. I couldn’t ask for better communication throughout this process. When choosing your fence, of very import note, the colors that you see in the pamphlet matched exactly. I’m sure you’ve bought something on Amazon where the colors may not have been exact, but that was not something that could happen with this process. We bought a privacy fence and wanted it to match our house to a T. On the last day when it finally went up and I saw the color, a huge smile appeared on my face. It was as if that fence was meant to be there all along. We had just moved into our neighborhood and we had neighbors we had yet to meet coming over to tell us how great it looked! To finish the review, I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention the crew that put their blood sweat and tears into the process. First off, Ken told me exactly how many days it would take to put up (just 2.5 days). And guess what? It took them exactly 2.5 days. I mean, wow! Contractors finishing on time? Who’s ever heard of that? Secondly, we told them they could feel free to use our washroom or ask us if they needed anything to keep them hydrated. Instead, they had a cooler of their own drinks and food, and didn’t once knock on the door to ask for anything. They just took a short lunch break and were working non-stop to get the fence up on time, too busy to even ask us for some water. We were amazed at their professionalism. They were also personable and roped me in whenever there was a question or a situation that needed our input. And finally, the fence itself…I feel like a tornado could come, and while the siding on the house may not survive, I know that fence will. It is strong with no bend. It is perfect, exactly what we could have hoped for. The main reason we needed a fence was to keep our dogs safe. While the fence won’t stop the eagle in our neighborhood from thinking our small dogs might be a tasty treat, it will certainly keep our dogs much safer from any larger land animals, like the coyotes, and the potential werewolf that is our neighbor (well, he’s just very hairy. Not sure why he chases cats and howls at the moon, but to each his own). I am not one to have a heavy carbon footprint when it comes to internet reviews. Like the majority of people, I’d only take the time to write a review for two reasons – if something went so wrong I am doing it as public service to others -or- to sing the praises of something that was so right that it’s also a public service announcement to others. So, consider this review that – my public service announcement to you. If you are putting up a fence and want someone to hold your hand throughout the process, do not hesitate to use Complete Fence, but more specifically, request Ken Lombardo as your sales guy. You’ll be in great hands with him and his company."
"We spent months interviewing perspective fencing companies to build our two driveway gates. From the very first contact with Ken, he listened, offered suggestions, gave advice, and delivered on every aspect of our project, going over and above while remaining patient as the decision was not made quickly. I may or may not have changed my mind more than a few times and Ken never wavered on rolling with my ideas and requoting (maybe more than a few times). We are extremely happy that we made the decision to go with Complete Fence. The communication during the process was consistent, dates were met, and when obstacles arose, they handled it with ease. (you never really know how much your land slopes until you have two gates installed). The install and quality of the gates are exactly as we hoped, and the professionalism of the install team was top notch. Working with Zach, who managed the install, was smooth and he handled all of the details and stayed in close contact. This was probably the most stress free we have been on a home project and that is because of the team at Complete Fence. We couldn't be happier with the experience and would not hesitate to refer them to our friends and family, which we have already done. Complete Fence, you nailed it. Side note: The credit for the pillar work goes to Sid's Unlimited Landscaping out of Palos Heights. You won't be disappointed with their craftsmanship as well!"
