"I wasn’t able to express my concerns with the doctor, because apparently they want to charge you $130 before your exam. Yet I was sent a document stating “All questions were answered to to her satisfaction. She verbalized understanding and agreement with today's assessment and plan of care. Safe Practice: She was informed of safe practice measures has been taken.” When the doctor was barely even with me for 5 minutes and my answers and concerns were not addressed because I felt muzzled by the nurses/front desk worker. After he left, him and his nurse assistant said have a nice day and left. They did not give me any further instructions and just walked out of the room. So I got dressed and waited in there because I figured I would get my blood drawn in there? Normally, they tell you to wait outside or wait in the room and someone will come get you. Nothing. So of course, they were looking for me wondering where I was, all while I was twiddling my thumbs inside the doctors room. No wonder women are so nervous and anxious about pap-smears. The lady in the front seemed nice but overall, their practice just seems like it’s very in and out and not too personable or caring. I still have question and feel like I don’t have any peace of mind, so I’m going to spend money on getting a second opinion from a different doctor who could at least answer my questions and concerns and if more further analysis is needed, proceed with it and have whatever is covered by my insurance billed THROUGH them and whatever is owed after is billed to me. I will say, the lady that drew my blood was the only kind one and personable one in that office."
"He actually delivered my daughter 15 years ago and I must say when he was my doctor he was phenomenal. It’s sad that he moved an hour away and I wish my next two children would’ve been delivered by him. He was very detailed, and probably still is, he showed compassion, and he also seemed passionate about his profession. I am thankful that I experienced a good doctor like him 15 years ago to know what doctors after him are supposed to be like."
"Dr. Dogan has been one of the best doctors I’ve had for both pregnancies. He did such a great job on my C-section. I was able to hold my baby right after the staff was great he checked on me those two days I was in the hospital. Check my incision. He took real good care of me during my pregnancy made me feel comfortable and answered all my question. so grateful I had him for both of my pregnancies"
"My last pregnancy and it was the worst experience with this doctor! PROS : always have appointments available, waiting time is minimal. Dogan literally sees the patience for 1 minute always say ok everything is good see you! And he’s out the door while still talking. Not the best bedside manner. Since the beginning of my pregnancy I mentioned about anemic in my 3 previous pregnancies, didn’t take it seriously until 5-6m the which I was then sent to see another doctor in the building next door. He was extremely knowledgeable, answered all my questions and even told me of what steps and precautions I should take during the pregnancy up until the days in the hospital ( I could possible bleed out + my baby could be born with low platelets as well!). If it was for Dogan I wouldn’t have known anything that was going on with my platelets, iron etc. THANK GOD I had the chance to be seen with the other doc. The day of my c-section the nurses in Methodist were very nice however, the whole procedure was done so differently. I was numbed then they began to do a bunch of things including having my leg open to put the catheter while staff just walked around the room ( drape was still not up). The drape was the last thing they did and by the time my husband was brought in the room they had already started! Dogan did not close my incision, my husband was not able to cut the umbilical cord ( I was never told he wouldn’t be able to since he did all 3 previous ones) I didn’t get to my hold my baby until I was LITERALLY been rolled out the room and my husband didn’t get a chance to hold either. Dogan came by the room next day and never even saw my incision, that was the last time I saw him. He dipped! I couldn’t do follow up either after the 6 weeks bc they do not accept children AT ALL! not even in the waiting area. I was really hoping my last pregnancy would be a nice memorable moment and it was the complete opposite."
