"Nurse refused to allow my advocate back with me to help me communicate all the important information the doctor needed to know, then yelled at me “you’re communicating fine”. Followed to just pretending hippa doesn’t exist when she yelled my information down the hallway. My primary care made me wait 2 months just to refuse to see me because they forgot to order new patient blood work for me and I had to wait an additional 2 months. These people are literally doing everything they can do to treat none of us ever. They should be shut down and their budget given to a va facility capable and more importantly willing to serve veterans."

"Everyone I've spoken to is helpful, and kind. Their Behavioral Health professionals are wonderful! Definitely one of the better VA hospitals in the continental US. Primary care takes a while to get into, as it's almost impossible to get an appointment within the month."

Not the VA Medical Center in Amarillo. It is - by FAR! - the best medical and personal care I have ever received. From the providers (Team Courage's Ms. Nichols and crew), to Assistants and Techs, to Support services (Lynda Mitchell), to the people in Housekeeping and Maintenance - even the people cooking and working in the canteen - EVERYONE has been so kind, loving, supportive, and professional! Such a positive atmosphere starts at the top, and the quality of care here humbles me and makes me grateful to have had the privilege of serving in our United States armed forces.
