"If you look visibly Muslim, especially females with head covering, be prepared to receive a nasty attitude from some of the staff. I shopped here on Feb 14th; the cashier was pleasant with other customers, engaging in conversation. However, when it was my turn, her attitude suddenly changed. She didn't respond to my 'Hi, How are you?' and displayed a rude demeanor. The bagger also seemed bothered by bagging my few groceries like it was a burden to her, and neither of them acknowledged my 'Thank you.' In the past, some cashiers refuse to ring up my things on their register and falsely claim it's 'closed.' I was shocked to see a cashier named Ridhi still working. Once I asked her to check an item's price because I wanted to double-check if it was the same item on sale, she told me to 'Shut up,' scanned the item, printed a piece of paper with the price, and threw it at me and was saying awful things under her breath. It seems the nicer you are, the ruder they become. What a shame."

"This was my second time shopping at your store and 1. your staff is rude as hell i asked a guy where I can find something he told me to read the dam sign 2. I went to pay for my stuff and the cashier was rude his name is Jonathan and the guy bagging the stuff didn't know what he was doing he put all of my canned stuff on my eggs and when I got home they were broken he had my milk laying on the side and put stuff on it and it leaked all in my bag and being that im transgender they treated me even worse then anything so if you're transgender DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE ! maybe u should teach ur staff about being kind and respectful"

"I’ve been to this Jewel three times and I’ve never been able to find everything on my list - nothing exotic. Today I needed meat from the butcher. I went to this Jewel and the complete meat market was closed except for a portion for fish. I just left and went to Mariano’s and fortunately they had everything I needed."

"Meal with a large Kosher selection. Lots of baked goods (North Shore baked goods too), deli (including chopped liver Bologna tuna salad egg salad and more), meat section, refrigerated section (several brands of everything and they have Romanians), 3 triple aisles of dry non perishables and a nice sized candy section."
