"First time trying this place and will definitely be my go-to spot for tacos and bowls! Everything was fresh and flavorful. The burrito bowl shell is to die for. The flan and plantains were delicious as well. The service provided was helpful and friendly, and the inside was warm and inviting!"

"My husband and I stopped in for lunch. Very charming inside. Only one server was working and we waited awhile before our drinks came. We ordered the Tacos Americanos to share, 3 tacos, rice and beans. We were given a very small bowl of chips with two small salsa bowls. It was delicious. The tacos were very good. The rice was fluffy but lacked flavor. I would suggest, at a minimum, adding some bouillon in with the water. The beans were some of the best we’ve had in Chicago (we moved last year from Arizona). We will definitely go again to try the mole."

"Very clean restaurant with a modern look to it. I ordered the skirt steak taco dinner. While it was a little pricey compared to their competitors, the meal was absolutely delicious. The skirt steak had a lot of flavor and the beans and rice was fresh. I liked how the food was in foil or in plastic containers to keep the to-go order clean during transport. Very good first impression. I'm looking forward to trying more items off their menu."

"Horchata? GREAT. I LOVE. Taco Dinner with special tacos; shrimp and fish? AWESOME. Nachos? Decent. Location is pretty tough to get to because of the traffic and turning left onto Lawrence is a challenge in itself. But it's a nice spot for Mexican food."

"I’m new to the area and am thrilled to find this gem nearby. I enjoyed the Alambre Vegetarian and it was delicious. The service was great and the environment was light, bright, clean and welcoming. I loved the chips and salsa. There were two options with a green and red sauce. The rice pudding was the perfect ending to a great meal. I’ll be back."
