"They have been doing a lot of work to improve your experience and it shows. The farm has never looked this good! 100% recommend it"
"Got here first impressions are this is a really nice place, I decided to start walking some trails and unfortunately it started raining so I had to cut my trip short, next time."
"Wow, the conservation and educational work being done at this farm is heartwarming and appreciated! I initially went to walk the beautiful trails but found so much more than I expected. The animals were cute and fun for the kids to feed and I can't wait to go back to see the gardens in their full beauty. I am also an old tool geek so you can imagine how I felt walking into a couple of the barns filled with old farm relics! I can see families, work retreats, schools, and anyone wanting a fun and interesting place to go, coming here. Lots of picnic areas, playground, fire pits, and trails to discover in addition to the farm and gardens. Thank you to the staff and volunteers for providing such a peaceful place."
"This is a gemstone in Collinsville, Illinois. So much history, hiking, picnicking, gardens, interactive animals in residence, and more. Every time we visit there is something new, or refined ( beautified), etc. Handicapped accessibility is great. Families will love it. Weddings, reunions, dances in the barn, Clubs meet,, and more-- are happening. Nature on display at its finest!!! And...it's FREE!!!. ( donate, if you can)...see donation boxes."
"So glad I found this place! I was in the area for some mountain biking but that ended up not working out, so I stumbled across this gem and did some hiking. I did the longest trail (red) and, even though it’s only about 1.5 miles, it was a nice workout because it’s fairly hilly. The trails are mostly shaded and mulched, which is fantastic. The farm portion is where you begin the hike and there are some animals, gardens (including a flowery butterfly garden), and flowers to see as you get under way. There’s also a restroom available. The farm and trails are free to access, but they do accept donations."
