"I have two daughters that have attended Jones Academy since pre-k. The girls are in 4th and 5th grade now. Although they have learned a great deal and seem to be way ahead of the curve compared to other public schools, don’t be fooled. The teachers employed at Jones academy are by far the rudest meanest teachers to their students. I’ve witnessed first hand multiple teachers on multiple occasions be completely out of line with their treatment towards the students. There has been multiple occasions when the bus doesn’t get them from school till an hour after school has let out and the staff doesn’t notify the parents and the students aren’t allowed to notify their parents. Fairly disappointing treatment of A/B, GT, student council students. If you want your kids to be treated like trash, then this is the perfect school for you."

"I'm very upset that they changed it from roquemore to Jones academy... when I first heard that after I went to Barry elementary School (which is now being torn down as well) I couldn't believe it. and what upsets me the most (I know the sound stupid) is them removing the playground... I had a lot of memories there."

"Ok for a fine arts school....was a little disappointed though.... expected more freedom. But other than that the teachers where great! My favorite part of the school year was when dance, choir, and the shrek cast went to Six Flags!?"

"All 3 of my children attend Jones Academy and we love it!! The teachers here actually care about your children and actually take the time to communicate with the parents. The kids are learning second languages and piano. This school is the best place for your child to be!!"
