"Review Date: August 11th, 2015 We the Travelers of the United States… Nestled in the corner of Riverfront Park is this beautiful garden. Without seeing the few road signs that mention a Constitution Park, you’d never know the park, garden, or Dan Fogelberg Memorial were here. This garden seems to be dedicated to the good old Constitution of the United States of America. The one every American student learns growing up. The one we all have forgotten the words to after graduating. For this being a hidden gem, it is beautiful and the upkeep by the park district is great. The area just exudes calm and relaxation between the quaint size of the actual garden to the layout of the foliage. Aside from that, there really isn’t much else to say about this place. Its a perfect spot to sit down with a book and get lost in a story or recover after a jog on some trails. If you find yourself needing some peace away from the hectic world and you live in the area, do yourself a favor and check out the park, garden and the memorial."
"One of my favorite areas"
"Nice area to walk your dog down by the river love to take my dog there!"
"Just a patch of grass at a rundown part of Peoria. Lots of geese running around on the grass. Don't go at late hours as it may be unsafe. The only interesting thing about the Constitution Garden is the so-called Dan Fogelberg Memorial Park. I came half way around the world to look at three stones with inscriptions positioned by the side of the Illinois River. Very disappointed, honestly. It does no credit to the memory of a great singer. The Leader of the Band deserves better. Come on, Peoria."
"If you love Liberty and the songs of Peoria's favorite son, this is a worthy stop to reflect. Sit and watch the riverboats make their way back in history."
