Elgin Fresh Market

"This is one of my favorite grocery stores, they are very reasonable with their prices and especially their produce section. I got a bunch of produce to use for juicing and some extra other things and I only spent $40. If I went to Walmart or jewel I would have spent way more. They have really good warm food, I love their Flautas and their rice is my favorite Spanish rice. Their churros are the only churros I like from what I’ve all tried."

"Talk about not honoring the price they have; all of the containers of 'cueritos', the product were at $ 15 marked with a sharpie because they were on sale, I scanned them and they were 16.99. it's not that I care that much about those 2 dollars, but the way Ray (the guy that was in charge of fixing the price handled the situation), he didn't even go check the price for himself, nor sent someone there to check it he was just stubborn about the price is what is scanned. Shameful way to treat your clients. Of course, I go for service and being a shopping place, I have to rate it a 1 star all dependent on service quality."

"Close to home, fresh fruits, great selection of Latina/e/o/x items. Can get crowded during peak times. It's chaotic during weekends due to so many business around the store and the "mall." Service is decent; it's not stellar but it's not bad either."
