J.J. Peppers Food Store

"Stay away!!! Workers and beggars are trash! I gave my business to the local mom and pop shop on Chicago and Sheridan! Elgin police don’t care about its residents if they did this place would be long gone!!!"

"JJ peppers in Elgin, Illinois does not listen to customers and the store does not have a general phone number to be able to call the store. The manager and owner of the JJ peppers in Elgin Illinois are very rude people. While walking into the store I was asked by people outside of the store doors asking me for money and I told the management and they will not call 911 even though I had my own phone. Again the owners managers of the JJ peppers in Elgin don't listen, they don't have a general phone number, they're rude, and take my advice to boycott the JJ peppers in Elgin"

"Worst JJ Peppers ever. I'm from Chicago and my experience with JJ Peppers from Chicago are the best but this one is terrible. The cashier is so mean telling you that you can't be inside the store even been a customer buying items. I'm not going to support this business(this one) ever again"

"I been coming in this place for years. Doing my laundry and getting in and out food.. I got shock and speechless of the old lady with the glasses. The only person with glasses who works there. She felt really.. I meant Really offended about me just asking napkins for my food that i get when I'm doing laundry every Monday.. so she got offended and she told me she asked me first and that I ignore her.. so she wanted to refuse me giving napkins l. Im sure I didn't see her saying nothing to me or reading her body language of her trying to say anything to me and I was afraid to talk back to her about I didn't hear you saying that....but. I didn't say anything. I didn't wanted to get ban or Something. She look the type of person that call the cops on you if she can't win an argument.. I like this place is close where I live and work. That lady with glasses was happy years ago.. I remember she asked me to take a picture to her with her staff or her family or friends .. that was year's ago. She probably doesn't remember me. I do remember that day because it was my birthday I was doing laundry.. and they were celebrating something they even offered me a piece of cake for taking the picture."

"Told me I had to use the machine with someone's old soap an fabric soften. No matter the fact that i use free an clear soap. Because of skin problems. They told me they only clean at night. I should check the machine first. Wow. I did didn't think you would tell me you wouldn't clean it out. All they have to do is pour water in it. Just sad . Need again."
