O A Peterson Elementary

"This will be our 3rd year at Peterson. We moved to the Northwest ISD about 3 years ago. Very happy and impressed with the teachers, office staff and principal. We came from a school in Flower Mound that was very different. The teachers really care and take an interest in your child's future. I am sad that this will be our last year at Peterson. It has been a wonderful experience."

"This is a good school. My son is in the 3rd grade and going to the 4th. Because of new zone laws he will be going to a different school next year. His 1st grade teacher was AWESOME!! Loved her! Mrs. Dosey. His 2nd grade teacher Mrs. Dold was AWESOME too. This year he has two teachers. Mrs. Ferris and Mrs. Elliott both are Amazing in their own ways. I've not had issues with the front staff nor with anyone up there. My son is a bit to coach up and has made some questionable choices... Normal boy stuff to me. The teachers have all been easy to talk with, I email them weekly and I'm hands on with my son. Everyone is great folks. For a single dad I couldn't ask for more. Hope this review helps you. "Loved this school our son has attended since kindergarten he's now in second grade and our daughter in pre-k. Not fond of the front desk staff this year. They're very rude and act as if we aren't very welcomed there.The principal is one of the best and their teachers absolutely awesome. That is honestly the reason we haven't pulled them out just yet and into private schooling. We've volunteered there and always been on top of our babies. Not to mention one of their staff members made a false report to child services instead of just clarifying when we're always involved there with our children. It was was later thrown out and removed after finding out the person lied but it put a negative effect on how we feel about our children going there. Makes you think if it was because we're of another race that they would automatically make such a horrible decision. Our son is always receiving different awards he's a straight A student there and our daughter loves her teachers so much but we're just not sure we can deal with some of the staff another year."
