"None of the designers had anything to do with a skateboard and probably didn't want anything to do with one. If you've rode more than 5 parks in your time on Earth you'd probably rate this one the lowest. I'd give it a 1 star but you gotta be thankful to have a free local skatepark and Olliewood cost $10 an hour now, so it gets a 2... And the lights are so dark you couldn't find a black button on the light grey concrete if you tried. Finally, I left this review because they got rid of the only table at the park a little over a month ago and you can't call anywhere to ask why."
"Nice park. Not overly crowded with three rentable pavilions. Conveniently located restrooms."
"Great park, skatepark, picnic areas, open fields for activities and tennis courts. When all is over, hop on over to the pool to cool off. Love it."
"Can't think of much it's missing as far as parks go. After traveling the world and seeing so few policepeople in 33 countries, I'm annoyed our homicide rate is 50x that of other developed countries but our police sit at Flora Park all the time with nothing better to do than catching ppl driving 41mph in what feels like ought to be 35mph. I don't appreciate that there's always a cop sitting there when all the craziness you could ever dream of happens over on Butterfield a few blocks away. 3am fights and *insanity* there don't matter but reaching your quota catching ppl accidentally driving an intuitive speed on Pennsylvania is the priority. I have to tell every friend, visitor, guest, acquaintance, etc. from other parts of town or from outside of Dubuque to drive hyperslow near Flora bc there's likely a cop there itching to meet quota and f you for driving an intuitive speed. I have never personally gotten a ticket from driving there but it's only bc I feel terror driving in my own neighborhood watching them chase everyone here all the time and grabbing 3 more cars to help them with the stop. My living room is a perpetual police light-powered rave between Flora-priximate speeders and ppl dying at the retirement home a ross the street. The park itself is nice. Great that they built a skate park. Pool is okay but closes disappointingly early. Restrooms limited but kept up well-ish. I miss the concrete octopus."
"Pool was clean, staff was very friendly, kid pool, water slides, diving boards. Fun for the whole family. I believe this is the only dubuque pool opening this season."
