"Had an appointment with Haley last year for color. I asked her for black hair with blue highlights. While she was doing my hair i asked if she could put in more blue during the process. She then told me she knows how to do her job. Then very poorly put the towel on my head (not adding anymore blue like I asked) and my hair dripped all the way down the back of my shirt. Staining my clothes even soaking into my bra. I walked out of the salon with this enormous stain and no one said a word. I have never been more uncomfortable with a hairstylist in my life."

"Horrible experience I paid close to $300 for something I did not ask for. I was given a few highlights around my face the cut was a flat Bob. I showed Bianca the style I wanted I had the cut before I don’t know why I was given a flat Bob. Honestly I think part of the problem is I was a last customer the few strands of highlight was done at 4:00pm that process took 20 minutes my cut was at 5:00pm the cut was done in about 10 minutes. I should have known something was up when the stylist did not even say hello not 1 word out of her. When I got there I said money was not a problem I’m going to a baby shower the next day I’ll be seeing a lot of people I had not seen so I wanted my hair and experience to be wonderful. They were much too fast and in a hurry to get me finished. I feel like I was a bank that got robbed. Great Clips could have done a better job. I used to hold Tricoci in high esteem I normally went to the one in Vernon Hills however someone recommended Crystal Lake what a huge mistake. It also feels like I took $300 and just flushed down the toilet. My advice never be the last customer especially if the stylist was either stoned or sleepy. I received a minimal process at a high cost. I will never go back I will also tell the 100s of people I engage with each week to never use your salon. Horrible! If you are looking for a high end salon go elsewhere Tricoci is not what it used to be. Heads up I spoke with Tricoci they were very nice about my dilemma I was given a full refund. I may have come in a bit late possibly the girls were tired I don’t know because in the past Tricoci always did a great job. I had my hair redone elsewhere I’m posting a picture of what I wanted and have now Thank you Monica .. The first pictures is the repair last pics is what it looked liked when I left Tricoci. Thank you Eduardo (Tricoci) for working with me and again thank you Monica for creating a work of art. Maybe Tricoci should hire Monica a stylist and colorist for over 25 years"

"I have very curly hair and in 45 minutes, Anthony washed, conditioned, cut and blow dried straight my hair. I showed him one picture of how I wanted it cut and he replicated it perfectly. It was a great experience in the salon and all the staff are so friendly."
