"I’ve had eight kids, spanning 20 years old to newborn, and Dr. Schaub is by far the best doctor I’ve had. I just moved to Lubbock a few years ago and having to find new providers you love is sometimes hit or miss. Dr. Schaub came recommended to me by a postpartum nurse friend of mine that worked with her in the hospital. And when I delivered my baby in September, nearly ALL the nurses who were expecting that I spoke to had chosen Dr. Schaub as their provider. She’s very much well-liked among the staff with whom she works. Reasons I love her as a provider: 1.) As mentioned I have 8 kids. I’ve had several doctors over the years living in different places and her office is my favorite because of how friendly and professional she and her entire staff were to me. This includes the receptionist, the nurses, and the lady in charge of billing. 2.) I wasn’t pressured into choosing a birth control plan, despite my age and family size. This is important to me because of my religious beliefs and I felt Dr. Schaub was genuinely supportive of me. 3.) At my initial appointment I mentioned that I was planning to have a VBAC and she was very supportive of that and said I was a great candidate for it. It was a success! 4.) I’m considered “Advanced Maternal Age” and I developed for the first time a DVT in my right leg. She came to visit me in the OB-ER and the following day she called me from her personal cell phone (I think she was in her car) just to check how I was doing and said I could call her personal cell if I needed anything. For all these reasons, I would heartily recommend her to anyone looking for a great OB provider."
