"I've never had such a bad experience. I'm not sure who did my nails but she really shouldn't not have been working. Open mouth coughing the whole time constantly having to stop to rub her head she seemed extremely sick which I feel bad but please don't come to work and cough in my face. Then after she finished my nails ( poorly done edges left pointy and nail polish on the edges of my fingers) she gagged and then went and threw up in the bathroom. For a mani Pedi and possibly some random illness I paid 98$ no discount offered at all."
"Loved that they got me in last minute and Lee always does a good job. This time, he was in a hurry, and I had to file a few places.. so won't be rushing him again for sure. But they are close to home and get the job done!!"
"I went in to have a fill in and a pedicure. I got there and they were busy so I knew it would be a bit of a wait. Another client walked in and we were chatting about colors when they asked her to have a seat for her pedicure. I waited 55 minutes before a chair opened up for nails. I asked for a ying yang design and the tech wasn't sure how to do it. He finally got it and went to put the clear coat on and the colors bled. He said he would fix it. He went ahead and had me go do my pedicure. While getting my pedicure, the woman made comments about my toe nails and even pointed out I had a hair on my big toe and kept making nasty faces while doing my pedicure. It was embarrassing. I went to pay and what should have been a $30 pedicure and $45 fill in for gel nails cost me $90. When I asked for her to explain the pricing she began yelling at me in front of other customers and said to sit down to fix the nails. At this point I had been here 2 hours and needed to leave. I left because I didn't want to have people staring at me. I called and spoke to the man who did my nails and asked for a different tech to fix my nails another day when I had time to come back. He said I am only allowed back by appointment only and he will be fixing my nails. I repeatedly asked for a different tech and when they refused I asked for a refund and the nails to be taken off. He then replied "you think you can eat food and get refund too?" Which I took offense to. I wasted $90 to be humiliated and yelled at. I've been coming to this salon for 3 years and have never had issues until today. I will not be returning."
"destroyed my cuticles. my nails were much longer when I went in but the nail tech was so rough, my nails were splitting and clipping away. I’m not one to complain but this experience was physically painful."
"I went into Diamond Nails to get a new set of acrylic nails. The technician recommended that I get a fill. I agreed to that and had a color picked out, which the nail technician then recommended I change. Once the technician applied the acrylic, I saw a few areas that looked as if they needed to be corrected to be more neat. I asked him if he was sure that the acrylic was okay in those areas and he said "yes, it will be okay once it is painted". The nail tech applied two coats of gel polish to my nails and the clear top coat. I then began to assess the nails on my left hand while the right set of nails were drying and told the nail technician that I could still see the uncolored nail peaking through the polish in some areas and that on most fingers, the polish did not extend to the corner of my nails, leaving the acrylic exposed. He grabbed my hand and looked at my nails and said that they looked fine. I told him that I was unhappy with the quality of my nails and that I also noticed that he had cut me with the equipment and I was bleeding. I told him that I would still pay for the service I received, but just wanted my nails to be corrected. He told me that he had done all that he could do for me and that I could talk to his manager. He said I owed him $33 and his manager was across the room. I went to the front counter to pay and asked him if I could speak to his manager. The manager came over and I told her that I was unhappy with the quality of my nails; that I liked the color, but did not feel that they were done neatly. I showed her my nails and the area where I was cut. She looked and said that my nails were pretty. I showed her where I could still see the nail peaking through the polish and on the sides of my nails. She attempted to put oil on one of my nails and the area where I was cut. I told her that I could still see my nail peaking through and that I felt they needed to be repainted. The manager told me that my nails were okay and that I owed them $23 dollars. As I got my payment out, I asked the manager if she was going to do anything to resolve the issue. She grabbed my money, gave me change, told me to have a nice day, and walked away. I left Diamond Nails feeling completely disrespected, mistreated, and minor though the injury may be; harmed. I would not recommend receiving their services."
