"I moved to Austin from NY City in 1993 and asked the people at my small software company to recommend an insurance agent. Out of a dozen or so responses from the 50 folks working there, more than half said Don Hughes Nationwide is great. Looked them up, saw "Round Rock" was about an inch away on the map (paper map days) and made a call. I didn't realize it was 20 miles away--Texas scale fooled this New Yorker. I live physically closer to about 2 dozen agencies, including a few Nationwide ones, but after my first claim experience back in the 90s I would never go anywhere else. From my 1993 Infiniti, through 2 SAAB Convertibles to my latest Genesis, all my cars (and my residence) have been insured here. Fast, friendly, responsive and reliable, every interaction has been smooth and stress-free.
