"If I could give 0 stars I would. I have never had someone be so rude to me before. I went in to Philips (as I have for many years) with a bag I purchased and wasn’t sure I was keeping (it was going to depend if the strap could be elongated) so the owner came out from the back to look at. It was clear he had been using dye or something in the back as his hands were covered in black as well as the gloves he was taking off. He came to grab the bag to look at it and I kind of flinched back as it was green leather and I asked with a smile “are your hands clean?” cause if this bag got dirty, I definitely couldn’t return it. He then looked at me and told me to take it somewhere else. He wouldn’t help me and that he had way more expensive bags in the back. I asked if he was serious cause I was so taken aback and he said “yes go somewhere else” I’m not for you. I will never return as we all have a choice where to bring our business. I found a much better place in Winnetka where the owner was kind and took his time with me called Michael’s."
