"While everyone here was nice, and they got me in quickly for tooth pain, I would urge anyone who needs work done to seek a second opinion on price. I had not been to the dentist for a few years, and knew I had a few issues, including missing two fillings. I was told I needed 2 root canals with crowns and 4 filings. They quoted me $8,000 out of pocket, even with my insurance. I could have been out of network, or something, but no one said I was… I was quite taken aback but thought maybe it was just a lot of work. I sought a second opinion and I paid 15% of the cost I was quoted here. My insurance ended up covering way more than I was told it did."

"NK Family Dental is such an excellent and caring dental practice. Throughout my adolescence, I experienced anxiety and shame around dental visits. I’ve been going to NK for 6 months now after not going to the dentist for years. I don’t dread going to the dentist anymore. Their staff is helpful and Dr. Khan is pleasant. The office is so stylish too! EDIT: And while I appreciate the common courtesy among the staff, I perused through the negative reviews and saw folks expressing they felt scammed by pricing. In my most recent visit, I was surprised to be charged for my cleaning but understood it was because it was an extra cleaning due to my oral health. However, I felt the receptionist could have included that information in the reminder call they sent me the week prior. Instead, I was given a reminder about the $125 payment right before my appointment. I wonder if I needed to reschedule right then would I have been hit with a fee? That experience didn’t sit right with me all the way."
