"My Dad came here to fix the radiator and the wheel bearings. A day later my dad came back and somehow he said the alternator was broken when it was totally fine and there were no previous issues whatsoever. This guy was charging my dad over $1000 not including the alternator. My boyfriend who knows about cars came back the next day and asked him simple questions to take a look at the car, what he replaced, see the parts that were broken and the guy wouldn't give him any information and was very defensive since my boyfriend knew he was ripping off my dad. He started insulting my boyfriend and turns out he was not even the owner. When asked to provide information about the owner's name, he freaked out and wouldnt give any information and kicked my boyfriend out. We did our research and all the parts combined we hired him to replace were less than $500 (that is with the highest quality parts you can get which he DID not use). Saw the brand he used for the replacements and he denied that it was the ones he used when the boxes were labeled. We asked another mechanic and they said estimated time to work on the job would be 3-4 hours. He charged us over $100/hour for labor, and when we consulted a dealer their labor was less than that. All in all, feel like it was a total rip off and the service was not great. Dishonest service. He kept saying not to record him when he wasn't even being recorded because other people have, so that means other people have had done this most likely. Would not recommend. Find another mechanic or just go to the dealership. At least you get quality work, quality parts, and a clear indication of what you're paying for upfront. Still don't know who the owner is."
