"I was with this agency for auto, homeowners and some other misc. insurance policies for 18.5 years. The rates crept up and up and up. This happened about 6 years ago, and I contacted the agency and spoke with someone who helped to write new policies with same coverages at magically lower prices. The prices in the past 18-24 months have gone way up and with no explanation, no claims. I called to cancel my homeowner's policy, as I've gotten a much lower priced policy elsewhere, and they didn't even bother to ask me why I was cancelling. I called 3 weeks prior and asked for a policy review to see about a lower price, and they said they'd call me back in a week and never called. Never. Called. I was pleased working with Karen and some other employees here over the years, but no longer. I don't know if they have new ownership/management or what, but if there really is a Kathye Carpenter in charge, you just lost a customer of 18+ years because your staff couldn't return calls and made no inquiries whatsoever on my TWO separate phone calls to discuss my homeowner's policy cancellation. Didn't even ask why."
